The staff strength of the Central Regional Co-ordinating Council at the end of the year 2010 was Eighty (80) and the total staff strength of the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies in the Region was One thousand six hundred and ninety-five (1,695).

The number of Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies in the region remained seventeen (17) made up of one (1) Metropolitan, six (6) Municipal and ten (10) District Assemblies.

Six (6) Administrative Officers were posted to the Region during the year under review. They included one (1) Director, three (3) Deputy Directors and two (2) Assistant Directors. Six (6) members of staff of the Regional Coordinating Council were promoted to various grades during the year under review.

The political head of the region, Hon. Ama Benyiwa-Doe (MRS), the Regional Minister remained in office after taken over in February, 2009. Mr. Kwame Oppong is currently the Administrative Head of the Region.
